External: Traditional block construction with insulation mechanically fixed to the outside of the construction. Covered with a polymer through-coloured render. Areas of larch cladding & local stone cladding. The roof was clad in zinc, with aluminium downpipes, aluminium windows & doors form the external envelope.

Internally: The property is dominated by the curved glazed staircase tower, which is the core of the property, with glass treads & balustrade. All floor surfaces have been finished with polished porcelain tiles. The client has achieved a crisp clean feel to the finished property.

Refurbishment of existing detached property

External: Major alterations to external envelope, remove and raise existing roof construction to create two additional en-suite bedrooms. Clad the external envelope with Cape Cod style timber cladding, introduce large glazed balcony to the rear seaward side, with ornate glazed canopy to the front.

Internal: Revise existing layout, creating open plan living space to first-floor to maximise sea-views. Installing bespoke hardwood flooring and doors, new oak staircase. All bathrooms and en-suites received Belgium marble wall & floor tiling. Complete re-wiring of all electrics, plumbing and heating.
